STUDENT WELLBEING

Studying at a university may be academically challenging. You may also find it difficult to settle in socially, or you may feel troubled by personal issues. One in ten students is unhappy at some point during the course of their studies, so if you are experiencing difficulties, you are not the only one. And you can get help. In most cases you might simply need to let it all out during one or two counselling sessions. In some cases you might need a little more than that. If you are unhappy as a student, it is always a good idea to contact your student counsellor, your mentor or the Student Counselling Service. Together you may find the heart of your problems and talk about how to work towards you feeling more comfortable as a student.
