PROBLEMS IN YOUR GROUP

It is very common to experience problems during group work. Learning to navigate within a group and dealing with the conflicts that may arise in a group setting is actually one of the most important qualifications that you will gain from this study programme. Often the issues that may arise in a group may not be recognised or regarded as a problem to other group members. Therefore, it is important to address any issue that may arise and discuss these with your group and engage in a joint effort to solve the problem. If you do not succeed, you may need to discuss the issue with your supervisor. Further information on group work.

Your student counsellors can also help you solve problems in your group. If, as an individual group member, you are having difficulties communicating with your group, your student counsellors may also be of assistance. Remember that we are bound by confidentiality.
