About the structure of the study programmes at Communication and Digital Media

THE STUDY PROGRAMMES OF THE STUDY BOARD FOR COMMUNICATION AND DIGITAL MEDIA

These pages include information on the bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes of the Study Board for Communication and Digital Media. This is also where you will find information on traineeships, master’s theses and study stays abroad.

BACHELOR PROGRAMMES

At bachelor level, all students must follow the basic module in Communication and Digital Media which spans a total of five semesters (2.5 years). During your sixth semester, you choose to specialise in Communication, Information Studies or Interactive Digital Media. You will then be awarded a bachelor’s degree in your selected specialisation.

In the right-hand menu entitled “bachelor’s degree” you will find more information on the basic module in Communication and Digital Media and the three specialisations:

  • Communication and Digital Media basic module - Communication
  • Communication and Digital Media basic module - Information Studies
  • Communication and Digital Media basic module - Interactive Digital Media

MASTER PROGRAMMES

At master’s degree level all three specialisations are offered in the master’s degree programmes in Communication, Information Studies and Interactive Digital Media. The election of bachelor specialisation entitles you to admission to the same Master's programme if the admission takes place directly after the finished bachelor's degree (legal requirements). You can also choose to apply for enrollment in another graduate program. You will find much more information on the study programmes by selecting “master’s degree” from the right-hand menu.
